   Agreed, I’m not a stripper, but those chicks got some balls to get out there every night and go through the crap they do. I worked as a shot/cigar girl at one for a while and even that was rough. Anyone who wants to run their mouth talking crap about all strippers in general is just jealous cuz no one would pay your ugly ass to remove your jacket, let alone your panties.     I’m a stripper, and I have seen some truly weird shit, and some that’s just plain scary. For the most part, it’s a job like any other, but you always get that one girl who can’t grasp that the pole is there for a reason, and gets herself in trouble. Usually, it’s because she has no communication with the bouncers. They are not just there to keep out kids, they’re there to protect the women, and if you don’t let Mike the bouncer know that tugging your earlobe means “this creep is trying to grab my ankle” he may not know that you want help. Ideally, all strippers would be strong, sharp women who know the risks and repercussions of the job, but if the ideal were always the case, I would be driving a Lamberghini instead of a Honda CRV.

    I am a male stripper, and I, too, have seen some crazy stuff in my day. Unlike many of the female strippers, I fully appreciate the comment about us having ‘balls’ in doing what we do. I completely agree - it takes guts, and mass amounts of confidence. Those insults were sent by idiots who’ve never been where we are and wouldn’t be able to work it like we do. Anyways, the name Jazmin is over-used. Some good ones are:
    Coco, Vixen, Dino (for a man), Foxy and Dominique (male or female). Those are my favourites, anyways.

    I’ve worked as a stripper several times when the job market here fell down and went kaboom, and first of all, it’s not such a bad gig, second, it’s true about the bouncers, our guy had to yank a customer off his barstool and throw him out because he was trying to bite dancers, and third, I used the name Lexi, and later, Kisa. Don’t get to excited about Kisa being original, though…it’s as cheesy as anything else. It’s a Russian work that basically means ‘kitty-cat.’
